so yeah... i just watched the pilot episode of vince gilligan's x-files spin off, the lone gunmen... and this the plot outline "The pilot episode for the FOX series "The Lone Gunmen" Which first aired on March 4, 2001. The plot envisioned the US Government hijacking a plane and crashing it into the World Trade Center."
insane... like the plane is flying right at the twin towers at the end of this episode...
