jeff tweedy on CBS

this is pretty cool... it's weird to see the mainstream media do a story on wilco and it's interesting to see the things they like to talk about, or choose to show, like the car commercial... i don't know him, but i wouldn't think that that would be up there with one of his great musical achievements, considering all the amazing musical moments he has had in his life... of course i'm not talking about them selling out, because what the fuck is selling out anyway, and he's got a family so i'd do exactly the same thing if anyone was offering... hell, iggy pop is making some great tv ads at the moment, and with record sales the way they are, you can make more off 60 seconds of music in an ad than you can in worldwide record sales... it's really cool seeing him jamming with his kids and for a tweedy obsessive like myself, seeing the room where he keeps some of his guitars, including the gibson acoustic from A.M. sitting there in the backround, it's pretty great... not to mention out the host's bow tie... awesomeness...
