i just now watched a really great john peel doco on captain beefheart... very inspirational stuff...
the man really was an unparalleled genius with no true equal, only imitators... and not only just his music... i had never really seen any of his paintings before and they are something else... it's time for me to dig out trout mask replica again and dig a bit deeper into this mans work...
